Richard E. Ziegler is the founder and Managing Principal of Alliance Professional Group, LLC.
|
Richard's 25 years in consulting began as a Financial, Economic, and Market Analyst, and advanced to Senior Vice President levels and a voting seat on the Executive Committee of an international consulting firm. Richard's corporate functional responsibilities included Strategic Planning, Business Planning, Strategic Marketing, Business Development Management, and Budgeting. With a vision and passion for creating his own company, Richard started Ziegler & Associates, LLC in 1998 and that later became Alliance Professional Group, LLC. in 2003
Richard has directly managed 50 person staffs and, indirectly, over 250 employees. His direct management responsibilities have been over 50 person commercial units and indirect responsibilities over 250 person business units.
Over the years, Richard has also managed entire processes and departments and been recognized repeatedly for his commitment to developing managers and employees; His focus, efficiency, and time management capabilities that have been infectious to all those around him. |

Richard's work over the last 15 years has given him first hand experience with government agencies such as HUD, the FDIC and the Federal Reserve, Congressionally chartered firms for profit like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and the Department of Defense. Private sector clients have included local, regional, and even international Fortune 100's.
Richard is an adept writer of technical and non technical information. His publishing and information transfer assignments have been for the Urban Land Institute, various business journals and he has served as Editor of a corporate client newsletter to 11,000 subscribers and co-developer and Editor of the Web Site for a North American firm. Richard is also a noted trainer, having written full process training manuals and delivered management and organizational training to employees throughout the US. and Canada.
Richard's work is spread evenly between the government and private sectors. Federal government work includes DoD consulting and facilitation primarily in the management, fielding and sustainment training, and organizational interfaces with Management Information Systems (MIS). In 1999, Richard secured, designed, and executed an assessment regarding management utilization of the MIS for the Army Materiel Command MWR Commercial Activities. After praise by Army Auditors (AAA), this lead to a worldwide engagement that spanned the continental USA, the Pacific, Korea, and Europe. This has led to additional assignments preparing reorganization assessments of departments with worldwide responsibilities, and other organizational work such as Joint Services Charter Development for MWR IT Army, Navy, Marine Corp, and Air Force. Our work not only includes quantitative assessments and analysis, but also high-level facilitations and briefings before Department Heads and BoD Generals.
Richard is also an active member in the business and professional community and performs many leadership roles.

Richard was born in Washington, DC and has been married to his wife Bronwyn for 32 years. Bronwyn is also active in the business and graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Psychology. The couple have three children and have resided in Prince William County since 1978. Richard attends and is an active member of Christ Chapel in Woodbridge, VA.
